You are part of the Forman Bookshare account. Here's how to access your books and more.

1. Go to bookshare.org
2. Click on LOG IN in the top right hand corner
3. Your username is - the first part of your school email, ex. erikka.adams
4. Your password is - if you're new, it was emailed to you from Ms. Adams
if you forgot/lost it, please email Ms. Adams - erikka.adams@formanschool.org
5. You're now in your Bookshare account. It should say "My Bookshare" and have other, personalized options.
If you're new, the personalized areas may be empty - that's ok!
You are part of the Forman Bookshare account. Here's how to find your class Reading Lists.

5. You're now in your Bookshare account. It should say "My Bookshare" and have other, personalized options.
6. Look for My Reading Lists in the lefthand menu AND at the bottom edge of the screen. Click on either of these
"My Reading Lists."
7. This is where you will find any class reading lists you have been assigned to join. Click on any title, and it will open that class's list and show you what books are available.

5. You're now in your Bookshare account. It should say "My Bookshare" and have other, personalized options
6. Go to "My Reading Lists" or "Books Assigned to Me" (left hand column menu)
7. Click on a Reading List title or the title of a book assigned to you
8. Click on the Read Now blue button to the right of the title.
9. The book will open, and on the top right hand corner of this screen is a MENU with an audio text bubble icon. Click that icon.
10. The book will immediately begin to be read aloud, all words!
11. To change the speech, to change the speed, click on the GEAR icon on the menu bar. Options for these are there for you to tweak and personalize.

6. Look for Books Assigned to Me in the lefthand menu AND at the bottom edge of the screen. Click on either of these

7. This is where you will find any titles/books you have been assigned. Click on any title, and it will open that book for you to begin reading.

6. Notice the search box at the top of the screen. This is where you can type in the name of an author, the title of a book, or words from the title of a book.
7. Type in the title, part of a title, or an author and hit return.
8. If the book you are looking for shows upon the results list, email Ms. Adams to request access. She will assign it to you and you will then be able to read it from your "My Assigned Books" area.
